Have you really made any progress this year? How do you know? Well I read my 50 books, wrote a blog a day, and lost 10 pounds… maybe (checks weight on scale) I just ate so that’s the reason.
Personally, I hate this idea of progress, why? Well it’s cliche, its aimless, a bunch of discontinuous goals and its just another new years resolution. You are being sucked into a scam that keeps you in a FOMO race every New Years.
Okay… when I snap my fingers you will snap out of it… Snap! No change because you are not going to change. Why? this a very important question, a personal attack on you, you should take it personal and answer this yourself.
So, what now… scrolling through social media looking for the next big goal to accomplish with influencers shoving their goals down your throat. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if you turned yellow and called yourself a minion.
Cut it out! A good example, Listening to Grant Cardone’s podcast is great until he gets a caller that says “ I’m trying to get like you”. What a drag? Bro! This is not you and you will show yourself once that next big goal is achieved. The real questionable truth is what about what you really want!
Successful people have goals and complete them but its not the project as a whole its just a rain drop in the bucket to the bigger picture.
I got it!
Become a self absorbed project developer becoming obsessed with your growth, your skills, and your desirable lifestyle. Why do I say project? Well, projects provide opportunities for continuous improvement and learning, applied to other future projects to make them more efficient and effective.
For instance, Entrepreneurs have projects that they have worked on for years and mention how they had to constantly put their projects through a development cycle.
Key words that they say most times are… “Well, I had to design my life around… I had to focus on the development to create efficiency…being in the mindset of scientific methods when testing the creation of the product and then analyzing the work flow going into feedback loops”.

This a photo from “The Pocket Universal Principles of Design”, its a very simple blueprint to follow and the focus is on the constant growth of the project not it’s perfection.
You are the product in your life and all of your work is the by product, whether you start small with a journal writing project like how I started you will go on to more elaborate projects and as you keep track you will realize that you want more complex projects to create for yourself and who knows maybe for others creating a business from it.
Understand that every time you extend your worth you lose value in yourself from your own perspective… now don’t get me wrong I love Grant Cardone but I don’t plan to be like him or meet him in person because what we don’t do is meet our heroes.
I have plans to exceed his success always prepare yourself to exceed people you look up to especially if they are older because the only thing that makes you more wealthy than them is time…
Also don’t make the same mistake as me and not have a website to display your work because you don’t want your work to just be sitting in a file and its nearly forgotten…
oh lookey here… my “old” business plan “The Easy App” long forgotten.
Crazy to let something that could change lives go to waste because you never know what people are looking for in the world especially the digital world.
Matter of fact when is the rest of the world going to have access to the internet. Yeah that’s how big the digital world is going to become!
Ya see what project creation and development makes you do ? “invisible shrugs”
It makes you think outside the box ahead of nearly everyone else! Now start a project any project that lines up with your goals, interest, and lifestyle. School can’t teach you that Youniversity does! So, change the world one project at a time and change yourself as well.
